GRAMMY’S PUMPKIN BARS are the yummiest treats ever!! A moist, cinnamony pumpkin bar frosted in creamy cheese cream frosting…..oh my!! It is one of my most favorite desserts ever and a family favorite, for sure! I have made these bars for over 30 years and we never get tired of them. And for a short cut, I use two cans of pre-made cream cheese frosting instead of homemade these days. GRAMMY'S PUMPKIN BARS
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 15oz can pumpkin (I use Libby's)
- 1 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 recipes Cream Cheese Frosting (for shortcut, I use two cans of pre-made cream cheese frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350*
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, pumpkin, sugar, and oil.
- Addin the flour mixture and beat til well combined.
- Spread batter in an uncreased 15x10x1 inch pan.
- Bake at 350* for approximately 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool on rack in pan.
- Frost evenly with the cream cheese frosting. Cut into squares and ENJOY!
