GRAMMY’S ITALIAN MONKEY MUFFINS are a new favorite in our house!! These little gems are a twist on the old classic, in muffin form!  Bite-size pull apart muffins, tossed with buttery, savory herbs, then baked to warm, yummy goodness……..I bet your mouth is watering right now, right?! 🙂 hahaYep, they are that good!!  They will pair well with your favorite pasta dishes, soups, stews, or even savory egg recipes!  The skies the limit with these delectable muffins!  Check out my recipe for GRAMMY’S ITALIAN MONKEY MUFFINS below!  ENJOY!

GRAMMY'S ITALIAN MONKEY MUFFINS

Servings 12 muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 Tbsp parmesan cheese (I use Kraft green can)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400* and prepare muffin pan (either line with muffin paper liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set pan aside.
  • Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces
  • In a medium bowl, melt 6 Tbsp of your butter for a few seconds in your microwave. After melted, add in the Italian seasoning, garlic, and 3 Tbsp of the parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
  • Add biscuit pieces into your butter mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Evenly divide your biscuit pieces into each muffin cup and top each muffin with the additional parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 400* for about 10-12 minutes until lightly brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and brush with remaining melted butter before serving. ENJOY!
