Ingredients
  

FOR CAKE BATTER

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup milk

FOR STREUSEL LAYERS

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, cut into slices

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350* and spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set pan aside.

MAKE BANANA CAKE BATTER

  • In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix mashed bananas and butter til well combined.
  • Add in sugar, eggs, and vanilla til well blended.
  • Carefully add in flour mixture and milk to batter until well combined.

NEXT, PREPARE STREUSEL

  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and sliced cold butter. Using a fork or pastry cutter, cut butter into flour/sugar mixture until it resembles small pebbles.

NOW, PREPARE YOUR COFFEECAKE FOR BAKING

  • In prepared 9x13, pour half of the banana cake batter and spread evenly in bottom of pan.
  • Sprinkle half of the streusel mixture evenly over the batter.
  • Spread remaining half of batter on top of streusel layer, spreading evenly.
  • Finish with remaining streusel on top layer.
  • Bake at 350* for approx 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • Serve warm or room temperature....ENJOY!
