GRAMMY’S DOUBLE FUDGY BROWNIES!! Ohhhh my gosh, these are scrumptious 🙂 Are you a big fan of Ghiradelli Double Chocolate Brownies from the box like me? 🙂 Seriously, they are the epitome of the perfect brownie, right? Well, these are the homemade from-scratch version of those!! Chocolatey, fudgy brownie in the middle with perfectly crisp edges….yes! These brownies are “double chocolate”, loaded with chocolate chips, which makes them extra yummy, in my book!! Served straight out of the oven, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, or next day with a cup of coffee for an afternoon treat, they are absolutely perfect! GRAMMY'S DOUBLE FUDGY BROWNIES
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 1/4 cup white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cup unsweetened Hershey cocoa powder
- 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350* and lightly grease/spray a 9x13 baking dish. Set prepared dish aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add sugar and still til combined. Remove from heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter/sugar mixture with eggs and vanilla, stirring until well blended. I use a whisk for this step.
- Now, stir in your cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder with a large, study spoon or spatula until well combined and smooth.
- Fold chocolate chips into batter.
- Spread brownie batter into your prepared 9x13 pan evenly.
- Bake at 350* for approx 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE....ENJOY!
