GRAMMY'S OLIVE GARDEN PASTA
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - 2 lbs boneless/skinless chicken
- 16 oz bottle of Olive Garden Italian Dressing
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (I used the green can kind)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic (I used jarred, already minced)
- 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 16 oz penne or farfalle pasta, cooked according to directions on box
Instructions
- Add chicken to your slow cooker.
- Pour the Olive Garden dressing on top, then sprinkle with the parmesan cheese, garlic, and black pepper
- Cube your cream cheese and add it on top. Cover crock pot.
- Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW 6-8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, start cooking your pasta according to the directions on the box.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir the meat mixture until thoroughly mixed.
- Drain your pasta, reserving about a cup of the pasta water to potentially use if the sauce is too thick.
- Add pasta into meat sauce and toss until well mixed. Use a little of your reserved pasta water to desired consistency.
- Sprinkle a little additional parmesan cheese and parsley on top, if desired. ENJOY! 🙂
