GRAMMY’S 7-UP BISCUITS are a fluffy, easy biscuit that goes perfect with your favorite soups, stews, and roasts!! These biscuits only use four ingredients that you almost always have on-hand!  They mix up in literally minutes, then pop in the oven while you are finishing up the rest of your dinner prep, and out come these heavenly gems!!  I top mine with a little extra melted butter to give them a pretty, golden top and the result is pure deliciousness!! GRAMMY'S 7-UP BISCUITS

A fluffy, easy biscuit that goes perfect with your favorite soups, stews, and roasts
Servings: 12 biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Bisquick
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup 7-Up or Sprite
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425*
  2. Cut your stick of butter into pats and place them into a 9x13 baking dish and place in preheated oven for several minutes until butter is melted. Remove from oven and set pan aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cut sour cream into the Bisquick until crumbly
  4. Add in 7-Up or Sprite to the Bisquick mixture, mixing til just combined
  5. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured (I use Bisquick) surface and knead dough lightly using floured hands. Pat dough out to about 3/4' thick.
  6. Using a cutter or round glass, cut out your 12 biscuits
  7. Place biscuits in your buttered pan and place in preheated oven.
  8. Bake at 425* for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan from oven when baked.
  9. Optional: Brush tops of biscuits with a little extra melted butter for a pretty finish. Can also mix a little Italian seasoning into this butter before brushing the tops and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese, if serving with a pasta. ENJOY!
