YUMMY DUMP CAKE

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 cans Apple Pie Filling (can substitute peach, blueberry, cherry, etc instead)
  • 1 box cake mix (yellow or spice)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (omit if using different fruit)
  • 1 1/2 - 2 sticks butter, cut into thin pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350* and prepare 13x9 baking pan by spraying with PAM cooking spray
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly in bottom of prepared pan with a spoon. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of apples.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix on top of fruit, using a fork to break up any clumps and spread evenly over fruit
  • Top the mixture with the pats of butter, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly to prevent dry areas at the end. NOTE: you can opt to melt butter instead and drizzle over the top evenly.
  • Place dump cake into preheated oven and bake for 45-60 minutes or until fruit is bubbly and cake is lightly browned.
  • Serve warm, with scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top. ENJOY!
