NO-FROST CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CAKE

A yummy, chocolatey oatmeal cake filled with chocolate chips
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375* and grease/flour a 13x9 baking pan
In a large bowl, pour boiling water over the quick oats and let stand for about 10 minutes
Add the sugars and the butter into the oatmeal and beat well.
Add in two eggs and beat well.
Add in flour, baking soda, and cocoa; mix well
Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 375* for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. ENJOY!
