GRAMMY'S HERBY BEER BREAD

Servings: 6

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 12oz can of beer, room temperature
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • 1 Tbsp basil
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350* and lightly grease/spray a 9-inch loaf pan. Set pan aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, rosemary, thyme, and basil.
  3. Pour the beer into the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon until well blended.
  4. Spread dough in the loaf pan and drizzle with the melted butter evenly on top.
  5. Bake for 25-40 minutes, depending on your oven, or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out dry.
  6. Then turn out of pan and serve warm with your favorite soup, stew, or roast beef. ENJOY!
