GRAMMY'S BUTTERY BEER BREAD

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 1 stick butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350*F and lightly grease/spray your 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add together your flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Using a mixing spoon, add in your beer and stir just til blended (batter will be slightly lumpy).
  • In your loaf pan, pour half of the melted butter in the bottom, followed by your batter. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  • On top of batter, pour the remaining butter.
  • Bake beer bread in 350* oven for approx 45-60 minutes, depending on oven, or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite soup or stew. ENJOY! :)
