GRAMMY'S OLIVE GARDEN PASTA

A scrumptious pasta dish with chunks of tender chicken and a creamy sauce made with Olive Garden's famous salad dressing
Servings 8 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs boneless/skinless chicken
  • 16 oz bottle of Olive Garden Italian Dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (I used the green can kind)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic (I used jarred, already minced)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 16 oz penne or farfalle pasta, cooked according to directions on box

Instructions
 

  • Add chicken to your slow cooker.
  • Pour the Olive Garden dressing on top, then sprinkle with the parmesan cheese, garlic, and black pepper
  • Cube your cream cheese and add it on top. Cover crock pot.
  • Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW 6-8 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, start cooking your pasta according to the directions on the box.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks and stir the meat mixture until thoroughly mixed.
  • Drain your pasta, reserving about a cup of the pasta water to potentially use if the sauce is too thick.
  • Add pasta into meat sauce and toss until well mixed. Use a little of your reserved pasta water to desired consistency.
  • Sprinkle a little additional parmesan cheese and parsley on top, if desired. ENJOY! :)
