GRAMMY's GAME DAY CHILI
Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 2 cans red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can chili beans, with juice
- 1 can chili-ready diced tomatoes (or Rotel)
- 3 packets McCormick Chili Seasoning
- 1 48oz V-8 juice
SUGGESTED TOPPINGS
- Fritos Scoops, grated cheddar cheese, chopped avocado, chopped onion, chopped tomato, sour cream
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with some diced onion and salt/pepper to taste in x-large dutch oven over medium-high heat until browned, then drain oil off and return meat to pot.
- Add in kidney beans, chili beans, tomatoes, and sprinkle in seasoning packets. Pour in the V-8 juice until chili is your desired consistency. For us, this is about 1/2-2/3 of the bottle, as we like thick and chunky chili! Simmer on your stove top for about 20-30 minutes or move to a crockpot to keep warm.
- Be creative and top with your favorite yummy's (see the suggested toppings list above). Serve with salad and warm crusty bread for a yummy dinner that is sure to a hit with family and friends! ENJOY!
