Preheat oven to 425*
Cut your stick of butter into pats and place them into a 9x13 baking dish and place in preheated oven for several minutes until butter is melted. Remove from oven and set pan aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cut sour cream into the Bisquick until crumbly
Add in 7-Up or Sprite to the Bisquick mixture, mixing til just combined
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured (I use Bisquick) surface and knead dough lightly using floured hands. Pat dough out to about 3/4' thick.
Using a cutter or round glass, cut out your 12 biscuits
Place biscuits in your buttered pan and place in preheated oven.
Bake at 425* for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan from oven when baked.
Optional: Brush tops of biscuits with a little extra melted butter for a pretty finish. Can also mix a little Italian seasoning into this butter before brushing the tops and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese, if serving with a pasta. ENJOY!
