GRAMMY'S DOUBLE FUDGY BROWNIES

Servings 24 brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cup unsweetened Hershey cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350* and lightly grease/spray a 9x13 baking dish. Set prepared dish aside.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add sugar and still til combined. Remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter/sugar mixture with eggs and vanilla, stirring until well blended. I use a whisk for this step.
  • Now, stir in your cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder with a large, study spoon or spatula until well combined and smooth.
  • Fold chocolate chips into batter.
  • Spread brownie batter into your prepared 9x13 pan evenly.
  • Bake at 350* for approx 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE....ENJOY!
